Body Inspection System (BIW) before the paint tunnel at the exit of the Bodyshop. It is capable of detecting pits, buns, cracks, thinning, and missing die-cutting holes, among other defects. It consists of a set of triangulation sensors mounted on robots that scan the body in static or dynamic mode. It incorporates functionalities such as flush metering and “GAP&FLUSH” franchises and the inspection and detection of weld projections on the skin of the vehicle. It uses analytical and machine learning algorithms to reduce false detection as much as possible.
