IDI – “Intelligent Disc Inspector”

Inspection system for revolution parts such as brake discs, pipe flanges or blades. It is capable of detecting pores, cracks, material shortages and excesses, missing holes and foreign bodies, among other defects. It consists of a set of triangulation sensors mounted on fixed indexed supports that scan the part as it rotates on a turning system. The swivel system can grip the workpiece from the middle or from the outside, depending on the configuration chosen.
